About These Courses
This set of coursework is designed for educators and students to learn about the techniques being used to create live visual performances and investigate how these same skills can be applied to innovate on traditional forms of video production.
The lesson plans provided are broken up into separate modules that can be followed in order or put together in sub-collections that best fit with the focus for your class.
Each lesson typically includes:

- A mix of historical context, theory, and technical walkthroughs

Live Visuals 101
The first course in this series is Live Visuals 101 which covers a broad range of topics related to getting started with VJing and live performances.
There are 6 different main topics, with a total of 15 lessons, including:
- Video, from inputs to outputs
- Montage and visual music
- Introduction to motion design
- An overview of aesthetic styling
- Getting ready for your first gigs
