Check the forums.
Over the years we have developed an extensive community of users from around the world. Before you reach out to support, ask the forums or search and see if the answer to your question is already there. This helps us to keep an open support network and troubleshoot issues that past, present, and future users may experience. The forums can be found at https://discourse.vidvox.net/

Issues or questions related to using VDMX
Please keep in mind that the faster we can reproduce whatever problem you're having, the sooner we'll be able to fix it. Describing exactly how to duplicate your problem is usually helpful - if it is easier, feel free to include images or record a short screencast demonstrating your bug and send that to us!
Built in Crash Reporter
If VDMX crashes ("The Application VDMX6 has unexpectedly quit"), just relaunch it: on launch, it checks to see if it can access the internet, and if it can it will automatically send us the crash log your system generated. From this panel you can request an email reply to crash logs submitted if you would like more information about the issue.
Built in Bug Reporter
You can use the Report Bug option from the Help menu to send us information related to any bug in VDMX. These reports include,
- your system information
- recent console and crash logs
- an optional project file to help us recreate the issue
- an optional description to help us recreate the issue
- an optional e-mail address so we can follow up with additional questions
Reporting beach balls / hangs
If VDMX hangs (if it's not responding and you've got the "spinny beachball") please email us a Stack Trace and anything from your VDMX log files.
